2024 is Julie’s 50th Anniversary Year!

This year, Julie’s Family Learning Program (Julie’s) is celebrating 50 years of empowering learners, transforming families, and building community! From visionary founders Sisters Louise Kearns and Jean Sullivan to today’s dedicated teachers, there are hundreds of staff, students, volunteers, donors, and community partners who have had a profound impact on local families and individuals through their part in the life-changing work of Julie’s.

There are many ways to help us remember the past, celebrate today, and envision the future!

Julie's 50th Anniversary Events

Julie’s is proud to serve Greater Boston from our location in Southie. Our founders lived and worked in the neighborhood since 1974. This is an opportunity for our neighbors to see our space and learn more about our programs. There will be refreshments, activities for your kids, tours of our new playground and our new community library. The event is free, but we will have a donation bucket as your generosity is what allows us to provide free educational programs and supportive services to families.

Since Julie’s founding, hundreds of staff, students, and volunteers have given their hearts and souls to Julie’s. We look forward to bringing them together to re-connect with one another and with Julie’s, while also providing an opportunity for neighbors to see our space and learn more. There will be tours, refreshments, door prizes, and raffle baskets. Stay tuned for a date in November.
